Jana & JS Join SAPP
Falling in love with each other, Jana and JS started working together in 2006 when Jana joined JS in Paris. "It was there that we began to develop the current art that characterizes us," says JS. "We work on photography, architecture, portraits. " Their tools? The camera in the first place and also scissors, handmade stencils... Their trick is to print a photo, to cut it here or there to create points of light and shade. Then, using spray and acrylic, they refine the rendering. "In the studio, we work on painting and assembling material elements that can also be found in the street. Like wood, metal and even pieces of windows" says JS.

Their urban explorations, in Paris, Madrid, Bratislava, Vienna, Strasbourg, Blackpool or London, the young couple operates them early in the morning. When the moment is calmest.
